AS9120A
AS9120A is a company level certification based on a standard published by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) titled “Quality Management Systems-Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Distributors”. This standard includes ISO9001:2008 and specific requirements related to the aviation, space and defense industries. This standard revises AS9120; some of the changes to this revision include incorporating the updated version of ISO9001:2008, expanding the scope to include defense as well as aviation and space and defining relevant terms like counterfeit, suspected unapproved part and risk.
